Terrible experience

After a long trip, we checked in and were given no information whatsoever – not even about breakfast time or location. No mention of what the hotel offers or any basic guidance. For travelers like us, who had been on the road for a while, this was extremely unhelpful. We weren’t even sure how many nights we had booked. The room had no AC, no fridge, and was unbearably hot. Worst of all, there was a constant smell of sewage – it was absolutely disgusting. Breakfast service was chaotic. I had to personally ask the staff to refill basic items like glasses, pancakes, bread, and yogurt. It felt like no one knew what they were doing. Not a single smile or welcoming gesture from anyone during our stay. The entire staff seriously needs to reflect on whether this line of work is really for them. Due to the overall poor quality of the stay, we demanded compensation for this awful experience – which says a lot about how far from acceptable the standard really was. Overall, a horrible experience. Management needs to take a serious look at both service quality and staff attitude. We will definitely not be returning.

Vi var nok uheldige, da fuldt booket hotel. Der var ingen kopper og kaffe på morgenbuffet den første morgen. Og ingen bacon, det overlevede vi. Undrer mig over der ingen knager var til håndklæder, upraktisk at de alle skal hænge over glasvæggen. Døren til toilettet bandt og var svær at lukke. Da vi gik af trappen var der smadrede vinduer, hvor skårene stadig sad, farligt. Dejlig overraskelse at tresengs værelset faktisk var to sammenhængende værelser.

Personalen i receptionen var supertrevliga och hjälpsamma. Plus för att hunden fick följa med (och precis intill hotellet finns en jättestor och fin hundrastgård.) Men rummet var väldigt slitet. Bäddsoffan var hemsk, man kände alla fjädrar igenom. Toalettstolen gick inte alltid att spola eftersom knappen hakade upp sig och klosetten då inte fyllde upp med nytt vatten. Låset till toaletten var sönder så vi höll på att bli innelåsta. Flera lampor på rummet var trasiga. Frukosten var okej.

Det som drar ner betyget är frukosten och frukostmatsalen. Har bott på detta hotell 3-4 ggr/år under 10 års tid och, dessvärre, så har det aldrig varit så dåligt. I matsalen har det ställts dit konferenbord som gör att framkomligheten är näst intill obefintlig.
