The hotel staff in all areas were very friendly , efficient, and responsive. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location is great for walking to museums, the riverfront, the lake trail, and restaurants. One can easily self-park just around the corner from the hotel at about $17 per day cheaper than hotel valet, tho parking is still expensive as it is virtually everywhere in downtown Chicago with in- out privileges. We really enjoyed our stay!! One negative is that the lobby can get very crowded on occasion, but the elevators, while a bit small, are fast and we rarely had to wait.

I was a solo female traveler, I felt very safe the entire time I was there. Getting up to the rooms is very secure. Staff is so professional and friendly. Hotel front desk, she was absolutely fantastic and allowed me to check in a little early since the room was ready. The bar downstairs is a lovely touch and have a happy hour every day of the week. The room was spacious and very clean. It was low key luxury and I liked that there was always a staff associate visible and keeping an eye of the lobby at all times. I will definitely stay here again when I am back in Chicago!
