What a gem of a place! Very historic, plenty of room with very helpful staff and right in the middle of where you want to be. We enjoyed this property immensely and would love to make it back! The breakfast is so delicious and they even had a birthday surprise with a birthday waffle for my daughter. Can’t say enough about how much I loved this place.

Einfach perfekt

Es war absolut perfekt von der Lage, dem unglaublichen Service, bezauberndem Zimmer und wunderbaren Frühstück. Besser als jedes 5 Sterne Hotel! Unbedingte Empfehlung!

Fantastic find in a convenient location. Nicolas is super friendly, helpful and the suites are large with lots of space. They are a small operation bed & breakfast and the breakfast is personalized with more fresh local food than I could eat…well worth the price. Book it!

Amazing place to stay in the heart of the old town, just a few minutes walk from Grote Markt and the waterside. Beautiful rooms, and Nicolas was a welcoming host and made sure we had everything we needed.

This is by far one the best places we have stayed in any country. In addition to a great location and a quiet part of old town, our host, Nicholas, is a thoughtful and lovely person. He went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for our visit. There’s a reason he gets 10 out of 10 stars from every single person who has stayed there. Dont skip the breakfast either. Not only is it delicious, but Nicholas gives a fascinating talk on the history of the area and his specific building in particular.

Wonderful historical 3 suite hotel. We had the smallest room which was huge. We had stained glass windows, beautiful beam ceilings, , carved pillars, fireplace with carvings in front, private patio, lovely sitting area, desk, couch, and chairs. Full kitchen, spacious bathroom, but most of all historically beautiful. The owner was just lovely as was his main employee … both very helpful. Breakfast was outstanding.. and it was very very close to the city center easy walking to restaurants and other activities. We are now completely spoiled for any other hotel.

Wonderful accommodation :)

Our stay at Charming Suites Jan Zonder Vrees was superb. Our room was a really pleasant surprise, clean, comfortable and spacious. It was amazing! Nicolas was an awesome host who looked after us with any request and went above and beyond. The position made it a very easy walk to the centre of town, shopping and restaurant strips. And close to the river. We certainly will return the next time we are in Antwerp.

Perfect Antwerpen experience

From even before our arrival Nicolas messaged me to give information. At the suites he welcomed us and showed the suite with explanation of every amenities and also described the building history. Just amazing to live in a building from the 14th century, but with all the modern appliances you have in your own home. It is a fusion from the mediaeval times to the present day and it works like I've never seen before! Top score! 10/10

The best choice in Antwerp

This property was an absolute delight. Every aspect exceeded our expectations. The room was huge and very well decorated, including the separate seating area. The beds were very comfortable, with an actual queen sized mattress (not two twins pushed together). The bathrooms were spacious and nicely appointed. Breakfast the following morning left nothing to be desired and probably the best meal of our trip. The property's location was fantastic, within the old city center. Finally, the host Nicolas, was the most pleasant and accommodating host I have ever encountered. Nothing disappointed.

Einzigartige Unterkunft
