The rooms were clean and the staff were accommodating and courteous. The parking is pretty expensive for just parking above ground beside the hotel. There is an odd smell in the lobby and elevator (like paper mill pollution). The attached restaurant has a decent atmosphere and the staff were also great. The room was spacious, the best was comfortable. The pillows were too soft and there were no extra blankets (although we did not bother to ask for extras). The most outstanding thing was the very odd configuration of the bathroom. It is very cramped and has great deal of wasted space; almost like it isn’t made the way it should be because of support beams or HVAC being in the wrong place. The shower is large, although the water pipes knock when the hot water is running. There is an air exchanger type vent that is loud and rattles all night l, which made sleep difficult. From the second floor, there is no city view, only the balcony from another room, apartment buildings and the back parking lot. Having a balcony is a nice feature. Overall, decent enough, but room for improvement.
