If you are stuck for choice
This hotel is unfortunately not really worth the money and anybody wishing to stay in Horgen would do much better in the Hotel Schwan which is cheaper, more charming, better maintained, and has a much better restaurant.
The rooms are acceptable but for the price should be far better - I have paid half the price and found far superior alternatives (though this is difficult in Switzerland to be fair!). The air conditioning/heating system in my room was noisy, the pillows are about as thick as folding a sheet of paper in half, and the shower was disappointingly lacking in pressure (unless you like showering in cold water).
Breakfast was quite basic and the hot drinks systems made it rather slow. The view over the lake is the one highlight from the top floor.
