The hotel itself was in a fantastic location - great view of Registan Square from the terrace. The hotel spans two buildings, and we were in the newer one and you could tell. It was modern and clean; however, the room was a bit smaller than others we had stayed in in Uzbekistan. Because of this, it was quite tight to have two suitcases open and get around easily. The amenities in the room were good - there was bottled water, tea facilities, and a coffee machine. The breakfast was also very good and was served on the terrace. The communication, however, could have been better. After booking, I received an email from Hotel.com saying I needed to contact the hotel directly for the check-in policy. They did not respond to any messages on this platform or on social media, and only at the very last minute did they respond via WhatsApp. If communication had been better, the stay would have felt more seamless.
