The surrounding area was safe and there were retail stores within driving distance. Bottom line, my wife and will stay at this property again. Shanay was great at the front desk and at the breakfast buffet. Maria provided excellent room cleaning. BTW: The morning breakfast was firing on all 8 cylinders. DW/SW

This is the worst place to stay if you ever come up north of Illinois do not even stay around this area the town of Harvey or any surrounding cities. Is all nothing but gangsters, crime, very high crime. It even tells you this if you look it up. It'll tell you to go to neighboring cities for your stay that you shouldn't even stay at this hotel for a leisure visit. That's pretty sad. And then since I didn't know that and I tried to cancel, I did not get to cancel cuz they said that I had a no cancel. Which I did not so I did not get my money back on this room. I had to go to oak Forest to get a room at the Holiday inn Express. Which was simply wonderful. But I sure wish I would have known about the quality inn in Harvey Illinois. Before I ever paid for that room. The area is not safe.
