The property and staff exceeded our expectations. The included breakfast was really good. If we make it back the Rapa Nui (Easter Island), we would want to stay here again. Be sure to have WhatsApp installed on your phone. This is the standard way to communicate with everyone on the island. The owner, Odette contacted us to confirm our arrival flight and met us at the airport with a van. The property was a little out of the way, but worth the hike or ride. She gave us contact info for locals we could call for rides. About $6 to anywhere in town. We used them a few times and hiked back once, along the ocean. We had room 4 on the second floor, corner. It had a nice ocean view and a huge balcony deck and a wonderful tradewind cross breeze, which saved us. One day the power went out island wide, until well into the evening. Our room was comfortable and we got to do some star gazing.

The bathroom is separate from sleeping area, very inconvenient. It doesn’t have place to hang cloths or cloth hanger. Breakfast is very simple, two eggs per person allowance, little far fro the down and 30 minutes, would stay close to the town next time.

Parking and AC available. Original structure seems like a large home converted into rental rooms. Four rooms upstairs; 2 share nice balcony with some ocean view. Possiby 2 rooms downstairs with common area lounge. No staff available except for room cleaner that comes in, and (friendly) Odette (property mgr) to check you in/out. No telephone in room, so staff available only through WhatsApp. Property is located away from central Hanga Roa restaurants/market; accessible only by car, Taxi, walk. Includes breakfast of instant coffee, juice, fruits, breads, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, cereal. No eggs. Easy walk to Moai and sunset @ Tehay. Lots of loose dogs on RapaNui, even in restaurants. Barking kept us up some nights in adjacent residential area. Not many speak/understand English, so it's great if you speak the language or have a great app. Odette can help you set up tours.
