A splendid property for sure and an owner who clearly adores it - Firstly the good - Large and comfortable room , attentive host, clean and quiet accommodation and a super breakfast too - Secondly the not so good - We were travelling with our 2 dogs (one small and one large) which we mentioned at time of booking - When we turned up we felt somewhat unsure and a little uncomfortable from the hosts reaction to them, it felt more like she tolerates dogs , as there were plenty of rules for them including , cannot use the garden, must be fed and watered in bathroom which is across the hall and not en suite, these rules appeared after we had arrived. All in all a great stay if you are humans, however if you have a dog and in particular a large dog or two we felt, it feels somewhat tricky compared to many other places we have stayed. Ending on a positive the decoration is terrific and in particular the stairway lighting.
