Great location for access to Palermo Central train station Hop on hop off bus has a stop over the road Hotel was about 10 minute walk to main area of historic district However aircon didn’t work & because of location it was too noisy to keep door to balcony open Also bathroom had a musty smell , shower soap not working but that wasn’t a big issue The area is not really safe , I advise this if you feel vulnerable The staff were friendly, but they couldn’t help with aircon situation etc

Good deal near the central train station

Staff were very helpful, such as Wenda (Wendy) and Simona at the front desk and Estefania and the lady who speaks English who clean the rooms. The building is old and not at the top condition, but the staff keeps it clean and pleasant. The central train station is a few minutes’ walk, and a supermarket is about 10 minutes’ walk. For the price charged, it’s a great deal. The area around the hotel may not feel comfortable for a woman to walk by herself at night, but ok for a couple.

I had a great stay at for two nights earlier this month. What I Loved: Location, Location, Location! The property is right next to the Central Train Station, making it super convenient for travelers. Plus, all the major historical sites are within walking distance. Well-Maintained: The property is clean and well-kept, reflecting good upkeep. Friendly Staff: The reception team was warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. What Could Be Improved: Bathroom Space & Ventilation: The toilet was quite small, and the door didn’t close properly. Additionally, the exhaust fan wasn’t very effective, leading to some lingering odors. Air Conditioning: Unfortunately, the AC wasn’t operational yet. While I was informed that it wasn’t turned on as summer hadn’t officially started, the temperatures already warranted its use. Overall: Despite a couple of minor inconveniences, I had a great experience. The excellent location, cleanliness, and friendly staff made my stay

This hotel was perfect for me. I had to stay one night in Palermo between transit modes, and i figured the train was easier than getting a taxi, and this place was right by the station. Palermo super-centrale.

GC14 is ‘basic’ in some ways and has minimal facilities (although rooms have the essentials) but it’s in a great location for exploring Palermo on foot or by bus and making day-trips elsewhere in Sicily. The very best thing about it is the young, friendly and efficient staff! They couldn’t be nicer or more helpful and they made us feel warmly welcome.

Comfortable and close to railway station

Almost opposite the railway station and very close to the long distance bus station. Very convenient if a traveller would like to stay close to public transport facilities to travel to other places and to airport. This is a kitchenette but the microwave did not work. There was nom kettle but one was promptly provided on request. I could not get the cooker to work either. Reception staff friendly and helpful but not available after 9 pm.
