Comfortable hotel with clean rooms. It was great to be able to use the spa after a day of walking the West Highland Way.

We enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable and the leisure facilities were excellent. We didn't eat at the property because Drymen has some great places to eat. The main bugbear was the lock on the door not working properly meaning we constantly had to go to reception.

Room was nice. Restaurant dinner and breakfast were great. A great value!

We were extremely disappointed with our stay. Whenever we asked a question about the food we got a don't know or l dislike it so l wouldn't choose it, a very odd response. We think staff training is definitely needed urgently. We know they were busy but our experience was not a good one, especially as the music kept us up until very late. We will definitely not be visiting again. Very surprised it was a best western.

Nous avions deux nuits sur place et pendant 24h il n’y avait pas d’eau chaude et l’accès piscine fermé.

Clean comfortable rooms and bed. Large bathroom with nice shower. Plenty of space for luggage which was very nice. Property within a 2 minute walk of good restaurants. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Nice traditional type hotel, a little worn here and there but only adds to the charm. Had a recurring issue with the electronic door key which had to be repeatedly reset, but staff very efficient and helpful.

I have stayed here several times, staff always helpful and friendly. What I like most is the original bar features which are fab!

No lift. Staff were excellent. Restaurant/Pub are great. This is an older hotel, but that is part of the experience. We had a large room. Everything worked (hot water, outlets, etc.) Plenty of parking. We didn't use the spa/pool, but it looked nice.

Fantastic sized room, lovely bathroom, a bit to warm for our liking but after opening the windows all food, bar and restaurant excellent

The room was dirty including dead bugs but live spiders. The beds are uncomfortable. If you can stay anywhere else in Drymen, please do.

Good location. Staff friendly , food was ok. Rooms were clean but very basic.
Opinión verificada

The food was fantastic. The staff were polite. However, the room was down 3 flights if stairs and several corridors, even the room itself wasn't on one level, please don't go if you struggle walking. My guest arrived before me to check in and had to report the main door to the room and a window wouldn't close, these were rectified, which was a good job when at half past midnight a gentleman speaking loudly in German tried to get into my room. The resident access to the pool was blocked meaning I had to go all the way to reception, to the be told to walk round the outside of the hotel to the very back. My room had paint missing round a light fitting on the ceiling, stained grouting in the bathroom, no plugs near the beds and peeling wallpaper. All in all a disappointment.

Hotel website Description and pictures does not match up with the experience. We booked a Superior room and ended up in a shabby quiet dirty room with cracked wallpaper stained walls and furnitures clearly visible dust on panels and bedside tables. No interior decoration besides an outdated bed panel Poorly painted walls and ceiling mould in the bathroom dirty carpet and so on. Only good thing about the room was the bed. It looked quite new and was comfortable to sleep in.
