Breakfast was well presented and service was good. Evening meal quality was good. Had to wait to have order taken - could have been more attentive.

Great location right next to the racecourse with a view over the paddock. So quiet overnight- I would stay here even if I wasn’t going to the races. Great buffet breakfast and staff were all friendly and helpful

The staff make this hotel! They are all lovely from reception to the bar and housekeeping! Love staying here !
Opinión verificada

10/10 Excepcional

The hotel is adjacent to the racecourse so its very convenient if you want to go to the races. Nice bed and good curtains blocking out the light, very clean and fresh! Also lunch food in the hotel restaurant was good and guests get a discount, which was nice. The room air conditioning is bizarre and completely unfathomable, the symbols on the screen in the room don't seem to mean anything. It was quite cold in the room when I arrived, but, I went to reception (as one does) and the nice lady did turn up the temperature for me! And then, in the morning, when I asked, she did turn it down a bit as well! So that is grand service!! However, the TV was equally complicated and required a good 5 mins of fiddling pressing all the buttons to actually access any channels. So that was a challenge, bit like the Krypton Factor.

Opinión verificada

4/10 Regular

The room did not deserve the price charged, the chair was absolutely revolting, I refused to even touch it. Sofa had marks on, the bath had mould on and short hair in the bath, toilet flush made me think twice before touching it, but that might just be because of the age of the place. Wall paper was coming off the wall above the mirror in the room.Breakfast was not well attended by the staff, with little choice as was not topped up. Bed was clean, furniture looked ok but overall very outdated.
