Logan was at the front desk ready to check us in. He was quick and helpful. Prior to arriving, I made a request, which he helped me out with as well.
It’s not one of those upscale hotels, but the entire place was newly renovated, clean, and modern looking. Our room was also clean. The bed was comfortable and we slept well every night. The AC was already on when we first went inside, which was nice because it was super hot outside. The housekeeping staff is very friendly and accommodating.
The breakfast had warm food (eggs, sausage, bacon crumbles), different types of bread (including tortillas to make breakfast burritos), oatmeal, cereals, yogurt, fruits, etc. the coffee maker brews fresh coffee for each person and is available 24/7. There’s also tea and hot chocolate. They also have cookies by the front desk that are refilled throughout the day.
I took away one star for 2 reasons. 1) We can hear people walking upstairs probably due to the hard floors. It wasn’t too bad, but if the people up there were even a little rowdier, it would’ve been really annoying. 2) The blackout curtains aren’t flush to the wall and there are bright lights facing the hotel at night. The light comes into the rooms. Also, the AC is great, but it’s right below the curtains, so the curtains are flying. We put some items on the windowsill to hold them down so that they weren’t flapping everywhere.
