Overall it was OK but not worth the price. Good things; Beds were very comfortable, the hotel staff were very friendly, helpful, and informative, There was a fair selection of breakfast items. Good location close to downtown Poulsbo, plenty of parking and easy to park 12-passener van. HVAC unit was heated quickly. Room looked clean and bed sheets were clean, smelled nice, and had no stains.
Bad things: There was a thin blanket but no comforter on the beds, so we had to turn up the heat, which caused excessive dryness and dry mouth by morning. No elevator, and there were no rooms available on the first floor so we had to drag heavy bags up stairs (yes we could have asked for help, but price was already high). In our first room the toilet ran very slow and ultimately clogged. I borrowed a plunger (because it's just a clogged toilet, no big deal), but it took longer than It has ever taken me to clear another toilet to get that one to go down. Later, even with flushing first then adding paper before flushing, it clogged again. We changed rooms after the first day and the second room toilet ran slowly and clogged once too (even with flushing, then paper and flushing again). Carpets looked clean but were very dirty and soiled our socks when walking upon them. Cooked eggs, both hard boiled and folded omelets with very cheap yellow waxy tasting cheese were offered first two days, then no eggs after that. Room service only cleaned coffee pot 1 day & supplies for it 2days
