First, their advertisement for the hotel and room we booked was incorrect and therefore false advertising. We booked this hotel and went to purchase swim suits for our children bc it said there was an outdoor pool, which there is not. Additionally, we booked a queen/queen room and they tried to give us two double beds. Then the room smelled bad, had cheap broken furniture (table and headboard), had very uncomfortable beds which caused me to only be able to get about 1 hour of sleep, and was dirty and outdated. I feel the false advertising is both the hotels fault but also hotels.com bc they are not checking if these places actually have what they say they have (a pool). I was very dissatisfied with my stay and am a loyal customer. I believe i should be given a partial refund and/or credit for a future stay due to this one being so awful.
