I loved the pop of colour on the bed covers. The large flat screen TV was great. I did not like the brick facade inside the unit and the outdated furniture. The room was expensive for what you got.

It was probably on par with other establishments in Bourke but unfortunately the town is very run down and we were told that security is an issue. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon when everything was closed so we didn’t see Bourke at its best.

Generally a standard property for the star rating. Some problems with a flashing Fluor in the bathroom. Room was on a main road and the traffic noise was intense. It would appear no effort has been made to attenuate this.

Our room was nice, very large and comfortable bed. The grounds however were not the same. Old unlicensed cars in the car park, pools been taken out. The guest laundry had one washer and one dryer, so had to take someone else’s clothes out. The property was meant to be 4 star but management didn’t even know the rating.

Tired motel in need of some renovations. Bathroom was particularly lack lustre. Onsite parking seemed insufficient for the number of rooms. Town clearly has a crime problem but, other than a sign on the door advising what to do in the event of a break in, little effort to make guests feel safe and secure (ie fencing or gates)

The hotel is 5 minute walk from the central park, across a petrol station and a supermarket where I got all nice food and items I needed. The room was in poor condition in terms of cleanliness. Dust and lots of dead insects were on the table. Dust were also found inside the fridge. The floor was not vacuumed. Some dried food were seen on bowls, mugs and cutleries. I saw a bug on the flat sheet! If the room was cleaner, I would probably stay longer to explore the town.
