The hotel is a newer property in Carson City and the condition of the building & grounds reflect that. The desk is staffed 24/7 and the staff is very pleasant and eager to make guest accommodations. However, that’s where my 5-star rating for this hotel dropped to 4-star. I booked a 13 night stay from the end of July -August 2024. After the first week I made a request for full housekeeping & was told by the front desk that not until my 9th day would I be receiving that. It never happened the whole 2 weeks I stayed (told it’s due to staffing issues). Sure, I received towels upon request, but not even a bedding change,vacuum or trash removal during that
time. Unacceptable. The complimentary full breakfast was just okay. Powdered scrambled eggs, toasters not suitable for the size of bread, bagels & waffles offered. People had to tear their bread in half to toast it. Cold cereal dispensers clogged frequently & were unusable. I suggest individual yogurts, fewer sugary cereals, fresh eggs & hospitality sized toasting appliances. That alone would go a long way to impressing guests.
