Absolutely horrible. No staff on property during entire stay. Was denied an accessible room and forced to walk up stairs with luggage and a physical disability due to no elevator and supposedly having no rooms on the first floor.
The original room we were put in the lock was broke. The guy on the kiosk put us in the conjoined room… it was filthy, stains that were crusted on all the bedding and cigarette burns. The lamp shades even had gross stuff on them. There was hair all over the bathroom and I had to clean the toilet seat just to use the bathroom.
The guy on the kiosk wasn’t helpful at all other than changing rooms and just kept saying “I’m so sorry, we didn’t want your stay to go this way” and “we will try better next time” I tried to request a refund through hotels but even they couldn’t get one saying the hotel has strict refund policies.
I 100% feel scammed by this property. With no staff on site it’s easy to not take accountability or care how a customer is treated or care how the rooms actually look. The pictures online do not represent what this hotel is actually like. Very highly disappointed. I will never, ever stay at a Baymont property again.
To Baymont, please use some decency, honesty, and transparency with future customers. Nobody should walk into a place feeling trapped because they were lied to online by a place that is supposed to be professional.
