fine stay for a night!
The place was fine, a little dirty and a little moldy on the window coverings. Probably not a problem for most people, but I have a mold allergy, so I had a reaction to sleeping in the room, unfortunately.
Check in was... odd.
The office was closed (at 6pm -- check in is until 7pm!)
I was greeted by someone who only sort of seemed to work there. He appeared to be living there, but didn't seem to have access to the office, or any information.
He did try to help me get into my room. He asked me for my room number and my after-hours lockbox code, which had been texted. He then tried several times to open my lockbox and get my key out, unsuccessfully.
He then opened the door to my room woth his master key, and told me to just leave the door ajar if I needed to go out for dinner or something. I told him that I wasnt comfortable with that, and I needed a key to my room. He said I could call the main number on the office to see if they could help. I didnt get through to them, but I did eventually just try the lock box on my own, and it worked fine.
So, it all turned out fine, but it was strange not to have someone there, and the suggestion to not give me a key at all was strange...
