We had such a lovely stay at Hotel Royal Blue. The WiFi was strongest here of anywhere we stayed in Belize. The local vibe is awesome in this part of town. You can definitely get by without a golf cart as a beach park, food joints, pastry shop, coffee shop, and supermarket are all at your fingertips. The service was excellent and we loved the welcome kitty by the door. Ocean view room is worth it. Only negative was water pressure, but that’s not uncommon even in the more expensive places. We would definitely stay here again.

Bathroom had black mold, non-working fan, peeling paint and poor water pressure. Pictures did not accurately show current condition of property. Bar/Restaurant was closed and under construction - construction noise during the day. Several rooms were being used as apartments and paper thin walls between rooms. This property is not suitable for vacation travelers. I left 4 days early and told there would be no refund. Over-charged for golf cart rental twice. Manager was also very disrespectful to local security guard at ferry terminal.

Excellent experience. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is centrally located with easy access to downtown, the water and the North side coffee shops. Coffee de los Mayas is less than two blocks away. Highly recommend!

Stay @ Hotel Royal Blie

Wonderful customer service, loved having microwave & frig in our room. The view was spectacular and location was perfect! Would recommend to those on a budget who want some quiet at north end of Boca Del Rio. Only issue was it does need some upgrades!
