Hands down, the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in. When we arrived, no one was at the front desk. I had to ring the doorbell several times before someone came out, and she didn’t apologize or acknowledge the wait. We left after the first night.
The room didn’t feel clean. The blankets were old, scratchy, and paper-thin; several lights and lamps didn’t work; and the floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The stairs leading to the rooms also felt treacherous. We found bugs, so we slept with the lights on and stayed on top of the blankets.
The pool was full of drunk teenagers, so we couldn’t use it that first night. We just wanted to get out of the room and ended up hanging out at the Culver’s next door because it felt cleaner than our room.
Breakfast was extremely limited: toast or waffles, with no water available. You’d be better off camping in a tent in the parking lot.
