It’s clean enough, just a bit funky-smelling. There was no one at the desk when I arrived, and the man waiting in the lobby said i was the man before me had had to wait a half hour for service. There was a phone on the counter, but the instructions were not put out until the guy came back 10 minutes later. He was not friendly at all, but got the job done. And there were no towels in the room, so I had to go back to the empty desk to get some. No biggie, just inconvenient. Girl at checkout was much more pleasant

Extremely disappointing stay unprofessional staff
I had a terrible experience at this hotel. Upon arrival, 19 October 2024, on Saturday ,we were left waiting outside in the rain for 15 minutes because no one opened the door. When we finally got inside, I was given a key card for room 223, only to find out that there was already someone staying in that room – it was a huge shock! I returned to the reception, where the night staff gave me another key card for room 202. I had booked a room with a king bed, but was instead given one with two queen beds. When I raised my concerns, the staff member was dismissive and didn’t seem to care at all. To make matters worse, the room was not clean, yet I was still charged $125 for the night. The overall service was incredibly unprofessional, and I left feeling frustrated and upset with how everything was handled. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We check-in late at night. Basically, the room was dim, carpet was not vacuumed, dust and scum around the edge behind the desk, sofa, and bedside. There was nothing more than five mini muffins, ten slides of white and wheat bread. When other customers asked about any more items of breakfast, the staff said that's it with poor attitude. This will be the first and the last time we will stay at this motel

Worst stay ever
The hotel was very smelly and dirty. The rooms carpet was stained and dirty. Pet friendly, yes had to remove the two spiders on the wall. On the go breakfast, toast and jam no butter? I would have to say Wyndham should send an Inspector to visit.

We booked and paid online. When we arrived the attendant said we were checked in but to wait a minute and did not give us keys. It took 30 mins for the attendant to give us our keys. The hotel is dirty, breakfast option was a loaf of white bread, yogurt & a couple apples. Ran out of coffee, counters, window sills, tables etc all dirty. Stains on floor in room, 5 plugins didn’t work for CPAP breathing machine. TERRIBLE service, dirty carpets throughout hotel, staff that didn’t care. Will NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL EVER again.

I was moved to a room on the first floor and the bed was broken, the tv and fridge didn’t work, the shampoo and hand lotion were used. There was no safety lock on the door. It felt like the room had been ready for repairs and then brought back into service. I asked for the bed to be fixed the first night and it was not. I asked the next day and again not fixed. The final night the bed was adjusted however as soon as you sat on the bed, it collapsed again. It felt like the box spring was broken completely. I spent three of four nights on a warped broken bed. I had to replug in the tv and fridge.

We stayed in a double queen room which was nice & roomy. Check in was reasonably easy and parking a breeze. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was basic but OK...Not much room in kitchen so not all guests can eat at the same time.

Road Weary
We were road weary and just looking for a roof over our head. Convenient location and modest price made this a good choice. It seriously needs an update but was clean and comfortable and lots of room. We were on the road early next morning with coffee and breakfast sandwiches from a neighboring 24 hour drive through.

We had a bad experience with our overnight stay. It took a while for the staff to check us in and we were wondering if our room was really ready then he had to mention, they had to make sure our sheets were changed so when we went to our room, they forgot to put pillows on one bed and the sheets were stained not even made properly with hairs on it. We had to sleep on top of the bed and we did not bother complaining as we arrived late at night already. Then morning came, breakfast was unbelievably bad that the rest who were there were also complaining despite it’s only 7:30 a.m, not much choices and the staff don’t even bother to refill.

This is an old property and it shows. The beds were great but…. The bathtub didn’t drain properly, the were numerous stains on the walls and in the chair. As well the air conditioning pumped moisture into the room. So much so that the carpet and bedding felt wet. Too bad as it’s a great location with a really nice restaurant nearby. I’ll find another hotel next time I’m in Salmon Arm.

What did I like? The bed was okay, but everything else was so poor I barely noticed. Checked in around 7pm. Of the 2 staff on site, one was madly cleaning rooms & the other checking people in at a desk that was buried under yesterday's room keys & a lot of disorganization. He had to go physically check if there was a room ready for us, was difficult to understand. The hallways wreaked of a deodorizer so strong I had to run for a window to breathe. Should have left then. No amenities in the room except a bar of soap & tiny shampoo. No tissues, no glasses, no coffee maker, & short on towels. Even though breakfast was promised to start at 730am, there was not a staff member to be found anywhere onsite & there was certainly NO breakfast. Noone at the desk, noone answering phones. Guests were milling around wondering what was going on & very frustrated. Couldn't get receipts, checkout, anything. Just had to through the key through the plexiglass & leave. I will never go there again. I'm still in shock about the situation & really would like my money back.

Terrible stay
Just after we checked in, we noticed the TV did not work. Spoke to the front desk and was told there’s nothing they can do as they didn’t have any maintenance. We booked this hotel because listing said breakfast was included, however nothing was provided. There was also no workers at the front desk and no one answered the phone that was provided for service. Us and many others left our keys on the front desk as no one was present for us to check out.

The bed was soft and I slept well but, Leaky faucet, curtains not hanging, dirty dirty and the place smelled. Reservations stated breakfast included but there was none. The cream for the coffee was spoiled. In the morning many guests were standing around the lobby/breakfast area not happy and there was no staff to be seen.
