Poor quality rooms, dishonest managment

I did not stay there and redused the room. They checked me in when i called then and i never got a chance to inspect my room , when I did get to my room the carpet wasnrotten and mildewed, it smelled horrible so I refused the room, because they had checked me in at 5pm when I called, they refused the cancelation, even after I paid for the cancellation insurance. The hotel management lied to Hotels.com when I called to process my refund and told the the room was fine even though the carpet was rotten. Also The Hotel is no where near Greune, its a a misrepresentation.

Great people, nice price, hold your nose.

Very nice people. Hotel is right next to I35 so you can hear trucks all night long. Carpet had lumps in it, bathtub had bugs in it, Floor had burns where a hot iron had been left. The room was clean and the staff was exceedingly nice and polite.

From the time that I walked into the door to the time that I left that clerk, Jennifer was very helpful. She was very professional on guiding us where we can go for our anniversary dinner then she went her way to make sure that my room was an excellent condition. She was a very awesome person. Older hotel in decent shape. Bed was comfortable, but room was rather noisy between the traffic right outside and the loud air conditioning, which thankfully worked well. There is free breakfast, but so bad that we didn't eat it the second morning. Our room was not made up or replenished even though we removed the "do not disturb" sign by 10AM. Front desk staff was friendly, but not so much other staff members. The hotel served our purposes, but we wouldn't stay there again.

Wow! Don't let the exterior fool you. This is a great little no-frills motel very centrally located in New Braunfels. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and helped me get checked in quickly and smoothly. She gave me some good recommendations for breakfast, and made my experience that much more enjoyable. The room was clean and well appointed. The AC worked great, and the bathroom was very clean. The sheets were clean and crisp, and the bed was very comfortable. I will definitely consider this location again the next time I am in town.
