I'd guess this is an older property that got run down at some point and has been mostly updated.
Good:
The staff were on top of things and efficient, fast easy check in, the pool & hot tub were in good working order (sort of rare in these types), the room & property have been largely updated and were very clean.
Lots of easy parking and a gas station for snacks/gas/small needs right next door.
Bad:
You can't really update the structure of a building, so new paint is great but the paper thin walls meant hearing the tv shows of the people above & next to us, every foot step and slam of a door in the hall.
If you need quiet, do not book here.
Same with the bed, new sheets are cheap but a mattress isn't. So half of ours was fine and the other half was cratered like the lake, making a queen more of a twin.
What ever:
Breakfast isn't fancy but for the cost that it has a working hot tub and offers any breakfast is nice. Probably would of been nicer but lots of foreign tourists with large amounts of kids were there and I saw them take a whole tray of the prepared food back to a room leaving none for other guests.
It's a discount stay, so not like the staff re-fresh the breakfast. We were left w/ a bagel & juice each.
For the cost, more than I expected and not a bad bagel. If you aren't there on a holiday wknd w/ people who don't know how to hotel breakfast you'll get more options.
Hot and cold water were backwards in the rm, so paid to update fixtures but cheaped on the plumber.
