When I pulled up, I didn’t actually believe the building was the hotel I booked! Definitely doesn’t qualify to have the Wyndham branding! Directly out the side door was a pile of trash, tools, shop vacs and what appeared to be dilapidated furniture. As you walk in the front doors to the right was an old broken down lawn mower parked in the tree. I really wish I would have taken pictures it was so far below standard I almost canceled. I was tired from driving 2.5 hours, hiking and getting prepared for a conference I was attending on Saturday June 14th. I didn’t have time. I really wanted to soak in the hot tub and go to sleep. I should have went with my intuition!! Check in was quick and easy. When I went to take a shower there was a dirty foot print on the ledge of the bathtub and dirt and left over FOOD behind the bathroom door when I closed it! While I was in the shower the carbon monoxide detector came off its holder on the ceiling. I called the front desk to let them know but no one ever showed up. The bed itself was comfortable and I might have slept well if it weren’t for the front desk assistant having some sort of what sounded like a heated discussion on the phone for literally 5 hours! I called yet again to let him know his voice was echoing throughout the whole building. He stopped for about 3 minutes and resumed practically yelling the the person on the phone! So very little sleep, complete unprofessional conduct, safety issues and a down right dirty old building!
