Location was in the CBD but near the Southern Cross station so fine during the daylight hours but questionable after dark. Staff was pleasant but the room had no windows plus was small, musty and on the ground floor. Every sound outside the door could be heard from adjoing rooms. As a solo male traveller it was adequate at best. I would not recommend for travellers who have safety concerns. Yes the CBD is expensive but this would be a wise time to spend a little more.
