The room was run down with torn upholstery, landlord special paint, and cheap Walmart furniture. It seems like it was a cool hotel 15 years ago but the current owners have let the rooms waste away. Additionally, the bedding reeked of bleach, which permeated the whole room and hit you in the face as soon as you walked in.
The beds seemed comfy at first, but this is an illusion. I woke up with multiple limbs asleep due to lumps in the mattress that cut off circulation. The rest of the furniture was uncomfortable as well.
The continental breakfast was still-frozen pastries in the lobby. And they appear to have covered up the memorial to the reporter killed by the car bomb in the 70s by some average modern art. I was looking forward to seeing that, and was left disappointed
The pool looked nice.
