I’m afraid to say that we have been very disappointed with our stay.
Whilst I fully understand that refurbishment is a positive I think that you should be telling people that this is going on, perhaps it is reflected therefore in a price reduction, but to not tell your customers that the work is going on it very poor.
We were checked in by someone who appeared from an office, she didn’t tell us about saying if we wanted the room made up, we only saw the sign for the door saying that we didn’t want it made up. We therefore didn’t have our tea/coffee/ sugar etc replaced until we asked on the 3rd day.
Also the stairs & lifts are useless to anyone with large luggage & certainly not for anyone with any kind of mobility issues you have to walk up or down 10 stairs to access the lift & that’s after the 2 steps from reception.
There was obviously no where to have breakfast, we had to go to the SAGA hotel to do our laundry. Nothing was communicated to us.
This is part of a 3 month trip, one of 36 different hotels etc & I’m very very disappointed.
