So, we've stayed at Toby's several times, and they have an efficient check-in process where you get a small clear bag with your AC remote, TV remote, room keys, and Wifi password (and then you pack it all back in the bag when you leave your room to check-out). I like knowing the batteries are working, and I can control the AC upon arrival!

The main advantage is that it’s only a few minutes from the airport. It’s cheap and cheerful, making it suitable for an overnight stay rather than a holiday destination, as there’s not much to do nearby. Shops are just around the corner, and the hotel is located close to the sea. The property is in need of significant updating. I mainly use it for a one-night stay when my flight arrives late, and meals are not included, so you’ll need to buy your own food. I’ve stayed at this hotel twice and will continue to use it because of its convenience. However, the pictures are somewhat deceiving and make the hotel appear better than it actually is.

I enjoy staying at Toby's, because it is close to the airport (MBJ), offers parking, and has a restaurant, which makes for an easier trip. (This was a holiday weekend, so it was a bit noisier down at the ocean than on previous stays, but it sounded like everyone was having a good time.) I noticed a couple of maintenance items in my room, like a lamp not working and the shower shampoo dispenser was out, so I mentioned these to the front desk at checkout. They appreciate hearing how they can make the room better for the next guest. The restaurant has delicious curry chicken, pepper steak, curry goat, and more options, so even if you don't stay here, do come for lunch or dinner!
