The room was comfortable, especially the bed. It was a little stiff for some people, but personally I found it great. Cleanliness was the biggest area that could use improvement. The rugs looked like they needed a deep cleaning and better vacuuming, and the bathroom/tub could use a good scrub as well.
Noise levels were mostly good. There were a few occasional loud moments, but nothing that impacted our stay. We stayed 5 nights and did not have room service during that time, though we knew we could request it if needed.
The included breakfast was a nice bonus with the usual options like eggs, sausage, bagels, and yogurt. The pool was closed and drained during our stay.
The hotel is about 7 miles from downtown. The immediate area has several hotels nearby, but the neighborhood changes quickly once you leave the block.
It looks like new management recently took over and is working on renovations. We saw new AC units and other equipment being brought in, which is a positive sign. Some reviews mentioned unfriendly staff, but that was not our experience. Overall, we knew what we were getting for the price, had no major issues, and would stay again.
