First impression wasn't great. The hotel is old, smells and looks old. The hallways and elevator have a stench.
Check in process was painful. Normal check in for most hotel is 3pm. They start check in at 4pm. We had to wait an hour due to early arrival. They require a $100 deposit for "incidentals." I was made to pay the deposit twice because I added an additional day. I was checked into room 2220 but was actually given a key to 2202. Once they realized the error, no apology whatsoever.
Staff wasn't warm or welcoming. They always had a serious look. Not very friendly.
Room looked clean. I was impressed with the kitchen and how fully stocked it was. It had everything one needs in a kitchen, pots, dishes, utensils, toaster and coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable.
I commend the housekeeping crew. They did a great job cleaning and providing fresh towels everyday. Some of the towels had permanent stains. Gross.
Breakfast was decent. Not a lot of variety. Good beverage options.
Overall experience wasn't great. I will not be returning. There are better options in the area.
