The pool area was fine. My 2 grandchildren swam. The room was sketchy. Bed appeared to be clean. Bathroom was super small, not clean around the toilet and the shower curtain bottom was icky. There were loose tiles next to the tub and unfortunately, some water got on the floor under the tile which made a squishy sound. The vending machines were disgusting...things spilled on the bottom and not cleaned up. I would not stay there again.

Good staff, clean, pleasant and reasonably priced. The free breakfast was marginal, offering a smattering to food such as biscuits and gravy, waffles and sausages. No eggs..

The room and lobby were immaculate. The breakfast had lots of options. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Just missed the mark on quality. Nicer linens and dishware would be nice.

Homeless man taking up residence there in the lobby and breakfast area. Water was so rusty, it stained everything. And it stunk of rust. Would not recommend this hotel.

Location for family reunion in Lake Mills was the only positive. Property was not well maintained. Bathroom floor was filthy. Hallways heavily scented. Room furniture in need of repair. Front desk clerk did not wear shoes. Difficulty communicating during checkout. Water had a terrible odor, specifically rusty, metallic smell. Purchased bottle water for washing face, brushing teeth, etc.

Sadly we were unhappy with our stay. We couldn’t shower has there was no water pressure and the water was trickling out. The sink didn’t have a drain plug. The lighting to get ready was also poor. There are no irons in the room but when I asked for one they provided it. You can hear the people who are above you in the second floor. The beds were comfy.

There was only ever one employee that we ever saw, and while he was very nice, our impression was that he was doing everything, and not well. Among our complaints: - The pillows were way overstuffed and uncomfortable to sleep with. - Everything felt dirty: the cabinets, bathroom floor, tv (looked like it had been cleaned with a dirty mop). Our beds were clean but in our daughter’s room one bed had crumbs in it. - The tv being dirty wasn’t a problem because we only got a few channels that didn’t come in clearly so we didn’t watch. - Some electrical outlets didn’t work. - The light switches in the bathroom did nothing. To turn on the bathroom lights you turned a timer which didn’t count down so you had to crank in reverse to turn the lights off. - They have a sign in the lobby about their “clean air” which apparently refers to the air freshener by the coffee station that released a cloud right as I walked by that had me choking. - The second morning at breakfast I found eggs in the mini fridge. I assumed they were hard boiled but no, they were raw! - My in-laws, 83 and 91, had a room on the second floor. Where’s the elevator? There isn’t one! The pool looked decent and clean but we didn’t use it. We won’t be back.

Our room was not clean when we arrived. There were crumbs on the floor and in the furniture. There were no sheets on the fold out beds and there was no cleaning during our stay. All beds remained unmade. When we asked for a vacuum and sheets for the foldout bed, the person at the desk said she had to check with her manager first. The manager did not appear to speak English. Finally, the desk clerk agreed to vacuum herself. There was no laundry area. Mechanicals appeared to be in poor condition. For example, the tub would not drain and a maintenance worker came in to fix it, but slow draining persisted. The bathroom faucet, which was not located in the bathroom, was broken and the temperature could not be controlled. I could go on, but want. We will not be staying at this hotel ever again or any other hotel with Amercinn ever again.

Our room was really dirty. The floor was not vacuumed. The mirror was dirty. There was no stopper for the bathtub and no toilet paper and dirty towels with blood or some kind of stain on it. Some of the accommodations they give you for the coffee was used by prior. Customers were never discarded by housekeeping and was just left in the same place. They display them in the bathroom had toilet bowl cleaner in the toilet, but the toilet wasn’t cleaned. The water pressure was very bad and we had no hot water. It was just warm. They had some really rowdy guests at 2 o’clock in the morning yelling and crying the whole hotel lobby smelled like marijuana overall day was horrible. The pool had a sign saying it was closed, but then when we asked about it, the clerk said they they only put up that sign when there’s nobody at the front desk so people won’t use the pool but he would remove the sign if we wanted to use it I would not recommend anybody to stay here. The outside was terrible. Looks like it’s been under construction for 20 Years.

Bed linens dirty on one bed, crumbs on the floor and other surfaces, shelf for hanging clothes falling off the wall, water pressure so bad it wouldn’t go up to shower head, water was yellow in toilet, breakfast room was dirty, no juice or milk, overripe bananas, only 1 bagel, same bread that was there the day before, very limited on food. No hot tub, pool closed mostly. Never again
