This was a great place to stay. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and the restaurant was excellent. The daily breakast buffet was awesome with fresh fruit, juices, omelettes, etc. Alejandro and his team in reception helped us get transportation for our group of 10 to travel around the city of La Paz and also to get out to Lake Titicaca. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is located at the lowest point of La Paz, the southern district (zona sur), by staying at this hotel your choices of getting altitude sickness is less. Also, this area of town has a nice weather, usually over 5 to 10 degrees (celcius) more than La Paz down town. The southern distrcit is also home of very popular restaurants, inernationally recognized such as " Gustu" and also the hotel is close located to one of La Paz biggest attractions the cableway, The green station. I really enjoyed my stay in this Hotel. Keep up the good work Hotel Casa Real

The property is in good shape. Only a few recommendations: the rooms are huge they have space to make so much more in then and modernize the furniture. The bar at the restaurant needs more variety of drinks in the cart there is only local beer and wine.

Nice location, close to teleferico and restaurants. Good restaurant. Good front desk and personnel assistance. Had some issues with heater/air conditioning unit, got a new room, in both rooms the usb chargers by the night table were not operational. They forgot to clean my room one day.

Large family trip
The staff was outstanding, friendly and very attentive to our needs. This was a family trip and had an 18 month old in our party, for which the family suite was perfect.They accommodated all our needs: the rooms are spacious, with a great view of the southern part of La Paz, shopping and great restaurants nearby, radio taxi available at the front desk for a small fee to take you to different parts of town. Make sure to try the delicious breakfast and the meal offerings of the Tranquera restaurant. The menu is varied to meet all palates, vegetarian, food allergies, and also they have excellent Bolivian dishes, a great salad bar, and desserts. Highly recommend it. Will visit again on next trip.

Made the reservation though Expedia and asked for an airport transfer. The hotel never responded though the Expedia messaging system but did answer my phone call and were very communicative through WhatsApp. The hotel is in a good location, the rooms are very large with loads of closet space. My room had a great view of the mountains! This is an older hotel, so the AC was a bit louder than it would have been had the equipment been new. I thought about asking them to look into it but didn't. One of the lights didn't work, and one of the electrical outlets didn't work. The bed was comfortable but the linens a lower thread count than one might expect in a 5 star. My Spanish is terrible. Although it was much easier to communicate though WhatsApp, all my phone inquiries were resolved as desired. In person interactions also went fine, but English is not spoken by much of the staff. The pool and jacuzzi were the same temperature, about 85°, not nearly as warm as I would like for a hot tub. I had a wonderful Tibetan Massage in the spa. The exercise room was spacious, clean, and will equipped with free weights and machines. The restaurant has well deserved great reviews with a few vegetarian and vegan options clearly indicated on the menu. It is open from about 7am until late in the evening and a robust buffet breakfast is included with the room. I'd happily stay again.
