There were a few positives to our stay. I requested flowers in the room for my girlfriend, and the hotel followed through, which was appreciated. The hotel restaurant employees were also excellent. Everyone we interacted with there was kind, friendly, and professional, and they were the best part of our stay. Devin at the front desk was also helpful.
Unfortunately, the room experience was very disappointing. Our first room was dirty, with smudged windows, handprints on the walls, and an unclean bathroom. More seriously, we found multiple adult bedbugs, including one on a towel and several in the bed. The room also had little to no hot water, even after following staff instructions and waiting 15 to 30 minutes.
We were moved to a second room, but it was still not clean. The curtains were dirty, the bathroom had not been properly cleaned, and there was a roach or similar insect on the floor. This room also had water issues. Some front desk interactions felt dismissive and unhelpful.
While we appreciated the flowers and the kindness of the restaurant staff, the cleanliness issues, insects, lack of hot water, and how concerns were handled made this stay unacceptable.
