The room was some what clean. Had a bad sewer odor coming from kitchen sink. We spoke to the front desk about the odor but nothing was done about it. I was told when i checked out that a manager would call me but i never received a call. Also the dead bolt on the door wouldnt lock and the only ice machine that worked was on the 14th floor. Very unsatisfied. Will never stay here again.
We were put in The Jami.can site and told when checked in the elevator was out but would be fixed during our stay and we were "only" on the 2nd floor. It wasnt fixed during our stay. We ran out of toilet paper and I had to ask multiple times for more. Other than that We enjoyed staying in this site.
My biggest concern was that the door wouldn't lock, and could be open without a key card. If I have not doubled check to see if the door was locked completely, then my room would've been accessible to anyone. Although assistant responded quickly to my concerns, I had to wait over a hour to get serviced. To share some helpful information, I think that your room keepers should double check the doors to make sure they lock completely, and just keep an eye out on the minor things, like the locks because my top lock was also broken as well. Overall I enjoyed my stay besides those those issues .
We showed up to the Caribbean needing a place to stay after our original plan fell through. Last minute they accommodated our needs and went above and beyond to ease our stresses.
We stayed a total of 5 nights. Really loved the view from the balcony since we were on the 14th floor. Everything is so close and convenient when it comes to restaurants, stores and attractions. The room we stayed unfortunately had not been renovated yet but did noticed the rest of the rooms on our floor had been renovated. I can definitely say we enjoyed our stay here and for sure would book at this hotel again.
We loved the assortment of pools and the restaurant and onsite was amazing.
The elevator in your hotel (Jamaican) was not working and they called us the day of our stay to tell us we can either cancel our reservation or basically deal with it.
They didn't offer another accommodation or any assistance moving our luggage. No luggage carts were to be found. That building was a forgotten one.
Beds were clean thabk goodness . The room smells like a fratt house ,the stinch of beer cover the room . The housekeeping before we checked in was changing the bed ,sweeping the floor. You could tell no mop was used and no cleaning products either. The water from the tap smells horrible . The lazy river and pool floors looked stained .. making the water look like urine no chlorine smell at all . Definitely need to upgrade pools appearance and take old carpet out of the rooms. Elevators are hot ,muggy and stink. Lobby was nice and fancy and people at guest services was great. Im sure its an employee issue . Good help is hard to find. For the price I expected a lot more.
My family and I stayed for almost a week and over all was pretty nice. Each room should at least have a broom to sweep up all the sand that gets brought into the rooms. But overall the rooms were nice. The pools were kept clean. We did have an issue with one hotel employee telling my father to stop taking pictures of his grandkids at the pool, took that up with management and they handled it quick and professionally. We will definitely book again at this resort in the future.
