We usually stay in budget accommodations, and I like to think I’m not overly picky—but this stay was definitely on the lower end of what we’ve experienced. We didn’t expect luxury at this price point, but the room felt more rundown than what we’re used to, even in budget hotels.
The space felt dirty and dated. Furniture was peeling and falling apart, there was dust on the floors, the bedding and curtains looked dingy, and the bathroom was in such rough shape that I didn’t feel comfortable showering. We stayed in a two-queen room with two adults, a toddler, and a dog—it was very cramped. I had expected a small kitchenette area based on the photos online, but after looking again, I think I may have confused it with a different room type.
Noise was another issue: loud music played into the night, highway noise was constant, and we could hear other dogs barking in nearby rooms.
That said, the hotel is located near some great food spots, and the included breakfast was surprisingly good—better than we expected, honestly.
Overall, we’ve stayed in worse, but I wouldn’t return to this one or recommend it. It just didn’t meet the bar, even for a budget stay.
