This was a long layover for us on our way to catch a Nile river cruise out of Luxor. We arrived to the Cairo airport after 0100, and as promised, there was a driver with a sign with my name and the hotel. He handled all the luggage and we had a pleasant drive to the hotel. After a seamless check-in, a staff member brought our luggage to our room , showed us how everything worked, and then brought us a much appreciated fruit plate and bottles of water.
We were told breakfast was served until 1030, and arrived just before 1000. There was no buffet, but we were served breakfast for 2 that could easily have served 6.
My only criticisms were that we requested a non- smoking twin room, and were given a smoking twin room. Also, we were not able to connect to the internet in our room, but it worked in the breakfast room.

Property is ok , a little old but clean, and the service is 5 star , staff is very polite and helpful, also quick .
Area is not so much but safe , quite few stray dogs running around . No fear is just one of the things noticed .. you have to try the hooka next door open 24 hrs and inexpensive good service

The staff were amazing, All of them are always smiling and willing to help and serve with generosity in a very polite way
What was really annoying was the WIFI, even though it is available and free but it was way slow that you can almost not useable

My stay at the Beirut Hotel in Egypt was an average experience overall. While the accommodations met basic expectations, there wasn’t much that stood out to make the stay memorable. The service was decent, though there may be room for improvement in terms of attentiveness and warmth. Amenities were functional but lacked the wow factor often associated with a standout hotel experience.
That said, the atmosphere was pleasant enough and the location was convenient, making it a satisfactory choice for a short stay. If you're looking for a no-frills option, this could work, but don't expect anything extraordinary.

Great stay near airport
Very conveniently located near airport with free shuttle. Front desk evening clerk especially was amazing! He bent over backwards to help us in any way he could. Free Wifi didn't work well most of the time. Even the engineers they sent to our room to fix it weren't able to do much. Lots of interesting shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Fortunately we were high enough that all the honking traffic didn't bother us too much. We had to check out at 5 AM, so they let us special order what to put in our breakfast to go boxed - even cheese omelets which were quite tasty. The beds were a little too firm for my taste but I slept pretty well nonetheless. I appreciated the bottled water they provided in the room.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. We book dozens of hotels annually and for the most part reviews are accurate except in this case. It should be more like a 3 or 4. Old run down amd no air conditioning working.

I enjoyed my stay here. The area was very congested but I walked around during the day and didn't go far. This is the real down to earth Egypt and not a fancy resort.

No value for money
The only thing i love is the shuttle bus, internet bad, room old and not comfy, no hot water, no heating, no enough blankets, no room lock, no dont disturb sign, a hotel coming out of the 70s and still run at the same mentality.

Dirty and annoying room service
The room looked really dirty I had people banging on my door at 11 at night in order to get me coffee and tea and teapot, they woke me up up.When they did bring the tea and the coffee they didn't bring any coffee cups!!!!I asked not to disturb me and that I didn't want any service but they instead of giving me the coffee and the tea probably for tips.

Manager, & office staff do not communicate properly. The manager & reception refused me & husband as a hotel guest. after 20 hours traveling,I arrived at hotel (at night);
The manager refused to accept my registered marriage certificate. I have been married for one year and half, & have never been denied as a guest in hotels. The manager told me to go to another hotel; Obviously he is unaware of what a registered legal signed stamped marriage certificate looks like. The sales office confirmed my reservation a month ago, & I informed them of my marriage certificate. There seems to be no professional communication between the sales office & the reception. The reception & manager were extremely rude, disrespectful, & I hope Expedia discontinues business with Beirut hotel.
