I’m a nurse who works overnight shifts and recently stayed at this extended stay hotel for 6 nights, paying over $1,000, and then extended for 2 more nights. The property was clean and well maintained, and most of the staff were friendly and professional — which made the experience mostly positive.
However, one incident completely changed that. I had informed the front desk that I’d be at work and wouldn’t arrive until late to extend my stay, and I offered to give my card number over the phone, but no one followed up. When I returned late, the front desk was closed, so I went to my room, planning to pay in the morning.
Instead, at 8 AM, I was woken up by loud banging. I sleep with earplugs due to my schedule, so it was jarring. A staff member named Heather entered my room, threatened to call the police if I didn’t pay a $150 balance within 30 minutes, and was extremely rude. The confrontation scared my dog, causing him to urinate on the floor.
When I came down moments later to pay, she didn’t even look at me or handle the transaction herself — she had someone else do it.
I’ve never been treated so disrespectfully at a hotel, especially one I paid so much for. Everyone else was great, but Heather’s aggressive and unprofessional behavior completely ruined what could’ve been a good stay. I hope management takes this seriously.
