Fine hotel with room for improving the restaurant
Hotel was excellent. The restaurant had a “Pasta Basta” event - rather badly organized. Too many guests with only three chefs meant very long waiting lines. Otherwise (other days) the restaurant was fine.

Two days in Deidesheim
The town of Deidesheim is a small but very charming town. There are vineyards right on the edge of town. Beautiful area. Hotel had bike hire on site which was one of the reasons that I selected it. Hotel was excellent - great breakfast. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Less than expected
This hotel looks great on paper, but the service felt arrogant. I travel for business very frequently and all over the work, and I have never felt so uncomfortable sitting in a hotel restaurant by myself - I was treated like a second class customer, possibly because I spent less money than the group of retired gentlement on the table next to me. This might be a good hotel to visit for a romantic break, or as a group of friends, but it is not the best for single (business) travellers, in my opinion. In terms of cleanliness, quality of food, internet and spa - all was fine.
