My friends and I stayed here. I can only say that I am very happy with the warm welcome and the wonderfully cozy room, very clean and it had a kitchen and a rooftop terrace to see the views of New York. Without a doubt, the best place we could have stayed. There is also a supermarket and several shops nearby and the Journal Square station is very close. Thank you very much, I will definitely come back another time.

Ok...no one in lobby. We had to call to get someone. It was hard to even see the phone number from the outside door. The person who eventually answered said 10 minutes and it was 10 minutes when we were outside with a truckload of stuff. There was no card to bring our luggage in. There was one blanket in the closet for the pull out bed which was kind of ratty and no pillowcases or sheets. One of the window shades was completely broken and there was a problem with the shower door plastic bumper. Not for some of the other people who are staying there. We would not even have been able to get in and wait for the attendant to let us into our room. The street was awkward and we could not even get down it due to the construction. The parking was advertised as available but it really wasn't. Oh, when we checked into the room, smell was horrible because of the heavy cleaning products that were used. It took a while for us to even get over the smell. The blank can smelled too. It's kind of sad because the hotel is in a good location, but you can hardly find it.

The hotel was like staying in our own apartment and was very simple to get into with keypad codes. Would recommend for people wanting to stay in NJ or near NYC.

1st trip to NJ. Hotel itself was not well maintained. The "fully furnished" kitchen was very lite on furnishings. (Cups, plates, etc) Lots of unsatisfactory patch jobs. (Exposed wires, tiles missing in places, lite bulbs blown, etc) They "balcony" was not even a thing. The road was closed in front of the hotels almost the entire time. Very hard to navigate if you are a driver. The staff itself on the other hand were very sweet and did their absolute best to make you feel welcomed and accommodating. This was my 1st time staying in a hotel that was not a common chain so it was very different than what I was expecting. The bed was phenomenal though. Slept well and felt very safe.

This place runs only on one factor - close to trains to NYC. 1. This is not a hotel but an appartment which gets serviced. 2. Massive construction next to it, so you will hear all kinds of noises all day. 3. Place is not run by any professional staff. Few college kids and seniors, so dont expect any professional conduct. You can get a good or a bad staff depending on luck. 4. Elevator smells bad, linens were not clean, pillows have to be requested. Couch I wont dare my kids to sleep on them. 5. Absolutely no customer care or hospitality. 6. Neighbourhood is trashy 7. Zero parking or space to unload. Pros: 1. Great food around 2. Close to PATH trains to NYC. Its just run by some guy who probably bought a old house, painted some rooms and called it a hotel. Experience: 1. Spotty and tainted linens. Changed pillows on request. Good. 2. Guy on front desk in morning is more busy on personal calls on couch, than assisting customer on desk. Very unprofessional for a young guy. Guess he wants to keep doing that. 3. Evening front desk guy is nice and well mannered.

DO NOT STAY HERE… it is advertised as sound proofed and blackout curtains. It has neither. Within a minute of walking in the room I could hear all the street traffic and that was at 10pm at night. Then I started to hear the noise from the hall and other rooms. I called the front desk to ask for another room and they said they were fully booked. After finding a ball of hair in the sheets and starting to get really annoyed by how loud the street noise was I called and asked for a refund and I would go elsewhere…. Miraculously another room was available after that. The next room I was out in was quieter but definitely not quite so don’t stay here if you are a light sleeper. Once entering the room the tv was on and the remote to turn it off was missing the power button so I had to call the front desk to manually turn it off. Then I went to close the curtains and those were broken as well and needed to be finagled closed by the front desk attendant. In the morning I went to take a shower and noticed the ceiling was all peeling. The pictures of this property online and the claims of quiet and blackout are enticing but don’t be fooled, none are true!

Logement propre et bien situé (à 3mn à pieds du Path), grande cuisine mais pas du tout équipée (3 couteaux, 4 fourchettes pour 5 personnes). Nous étions au rez de chaussée avec une vue sur un mur, nous entendions la musique du hall d'entrée qui fonctionnait 24h sur 24. Assez cher pour ce que c'était.

I wanted to share my recent experience, and I would strongly recommend avoiding a stay here for at least the next year. There is major construction happening right across from the hotel, with loud noise starting as early as 7 AM every day. The street is closed to traffic, so guests are required to walk some distance to reach the hotel, and there is no available parking. Additionally, the hotel rooms were not clean, and housekeeping did not provide daily room cleaning services during my stay. The only positive aspect is its proximity to the Journal Square train station, which is within walking distance.
