Everything about the hotel was fine. Staff were super nice and helpful.
I stayed in a suite comprised of a sleeping area and a sitting area separated by a bathroom and hallway/ sink area.
The bed was clean and very comfortable. All other aspects of the sleeping area were fine.
The couch was clean but horribly uncomfortable. This made the sitting area useless for a solo traveler. There was a table in the sitting area that would have been nice if needed for business. It did well for eating. If the couch had been serviceable, the sitting area would have been a great place to relax.
The bathroom was clean and serviceable. There was nothing remarkable about it. Everything worked fine.
The hotel restaurant was ok. The food was ok. Staff were very pleasant. Prices were high.
Now for the breakfast. This really missed the mark. It was obvious that great effort was made to be fancy. The plates, glasses and silverware were nice. Eggs could be made to order for those that didn’t mind waiting in line. And there was a self serve breakfast bar, which had scrambled eggs, bacon, oatmeal/grits, fresh fruit, and the like. There was almost no grab-and-go type prepackaged food. The food that was available was ok at best.
Overall, the suite was fine. A reasonable couch would be a great upgrade. In hotel dining is fine for socializing, otherwise expect to dine elsewhere. Staff were more polite and friendly than any other place I’ve stayed.
