Very clean and cozy. Huge room and very well isolated you don't hear any other clients and the inn was full when we stayed. Delicious breakfast, although a bit early if you like to sleep in. The hosts were amazing, very kind.

Leslie and Kevin offered so much more than a warm welcome and stay. They helped us plan our Nova Scotia trip down to incredible detail. Loved Annapolis Royal.

Kevin and Leslie are fantastic hosts, super friendly and helpful with all kinds of useful tips to share. Our room was lovely, large and comfortably furnished. The house has several dedicated spaces just for guests so one can enjoy time outside the room. It is an easy 15 minute walk to all the main shops in Annapolis Royal. Kevin's scones were worth the stay, all by themselves.

Kevin met us at the door of the Lark and Loon. Invited us in and gave us an orientation of the downstairs of building and our room. Kevin welcomed us to use the parlor and sitting room which was nicely decorated, but comfortable. There are no TVs in bedrooms, but there is one downstairs in sitting room. Our room was decorated very nicely. Comfortable bed and nice large bathroom. I loved the spinning wheel above the chest in the room. Kevin made a suggestion for us to go down to the brewpub which had music that night. My husband and I enjoyed the beer, cider and music. In the morning we treated to a very formal, beautiful breakfast table with coffee, tea, juice, delicious yogurt parfait and the best scone I have ever had that Leslie made. Kevin was gracious enough to share the scone recipe that was his grandmas. If you love history, Kevin had wealth of information of the area and the history of the area. Kevin made good recommendations of sites to see in the area.

Nice historic house well cared for. Breakfast served in the dining room using formal English place settings and all the other guests present great start to the day. All amenities excellent.

Highly recommend, we only stayed one night but wished we had more time to spend as the place has feel of your favourite armchair with many interesting curiosities. Kevin is a walking history lesson and he and Leslie serve wonderful breakfast and our stay was highlight of our stay in Annapolis Royal.

Lesley and Kevin were very knowledgeable about the history of their heritage property and Nova Scotia in general . It was obvious they took pride in their property and the service they provide . They made us feel very welcome and comfortable 🙂. The breakfast was delicious and well prepared and we were asked about our preferences . See you next year !
