The staff are so helpful in aiding us with a taxi or information about the area. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Location of the hotel couldn’t be better. We could walk to the many shops and cafes easily as well as the lighthouse and water. Chania old town is a charming area. We even walked to the archaeological museum. There is an elevator in the hotel. The breakfast buffet was wonderful but I enjoyed the rooftop seating the best. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you for your hospitality.

The bed was so comfortable and we really appreciated the air conditioning and fridge. The bathroom was also very spacious with a bathrobe, slippers and beach towels and bag. The breakfast was delicious and we were able to get a packed breakfast for an excursion which was very convenient. It is very central but very quiet inside the bedroom. The staff was very helpful and gave us useful recommendations. I highly recommend it and would love to stay there again in the future!

L’hôtel est neuf. Les prestations de qualité et de bon goût. Le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse supérieure est un moment très agréable pour commencer la journée. Des volets sur les chambres du rez-de-chaussée seraient toutefois nécessaires.

Very nicely place to stay! Lovely room. And pleasant staff. Breakfast was good but hot breakfast was cold, including coffee, both days. I’d recommend Malmo but huge warning about our most difficult challenge … parking!!! Of course old town is obviously difficult but it was so much worse then expected and took away from our trip, as we were only allowed to park a maximum of four hours in 24 hour period so we had to take our chances not to be ticketed cause we ran out of parking options driving around the city. The frustrating part was the hotel. Staff was not helpful in recommendations or knowledge of parking at all, which was quite a surprise. I would think that they would be more informed and more helpful in this regard.

Great stay! Rooms were very nice, quiet, and modern. Great staff, allowed us to hold our bag after we checked out. Great area with very tasty restaurants near by. Also we only had the breakfast once due to early tour start times, but it was great when we had it.

A very comfortable stay. The room was spacious and well-appointed, in a quiet yet central location with easy walking access to the old town and harbour. Staff were helpful throughout; they arranged taxis to and from the airport without any fuss, which was appreciated. Will return when back in Chania.

Absolutely stunning hotel rooms, very modern and luxe. Perfect location in old port, close to everything happening, yet still hidden away and very peaceful at night to sleep. The daily cleaning could have been better, often times it seemed rushed as towels weren't

Our stay at the Malmö Historic Hotel in Old Town was nothing short of exceptional. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the Old Town, making it easy to walk to restaurants, shops, historic sites, and everything the city has to offer. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its outstanding staff. Virginia and her team went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and memorable. From securing fantastic restaurant reservations to arranging taxis and helping with every request we had, their genuine hospitality and attention to detail were second to none. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and made us feel like valued guests throughout our stay. The combination of the hotel’s historic charm, unbeatable central location, and world-class service made this an unforgettable experience. We wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else when we return to Malmö. Highly recommended!
