Very enjoyable stay even though it was short had an excellent view from a high up position where my room and balcony were was able to see all the ocean all the beach and the activities down on on the ground level it was very accessible and easy to move in and out of the building it's cleanliness was good and the hotel staff was friendly all in all a good visit.

The room was decently clean. Condo is dated. Front staff was shortened to the point. Beach view would have a five star rating. The day we got there the Air Condition sounded like a freight train, the TV did not work, the phone did not work. When we asked to have things repaired the Maintenance Man clocked out at 6 PM so nothing could be fixed till the next day. We were there for two nights. So the first night we got very little sleep. The next day the Maintenance Man was very nice replaced the air condition said we had the wrong remote control gave us the correct one TV started working and said none of the phones work in any of the condos.

I rented one of the penthouse suites. It was very clean. Although it had some quirky things. Most of the light switches didn't work. Closets, but very little hangers. There were 3 tvs but you had to stream your own service...no local channels. A remote for the fan in the living room that didn't work. If you turned on the dining area light the fan came on with no way to control it. In the Kitchen no paper towels or dish washer tabs. It had plenty of space. And it was very clean. Although I didn't know that all room entrances are outside, like what you find in a motel. The restaurant wasn't open until Thursday and no breakfast is provided. Even the place to get massages wasn't open. For the most part it was quiet until our last night. I didn't get any sleep. There was a bike rally going on and you had people racing up and down the strip all night. The noise bounced off the walls between the resort and the building next door (maybe have better windows) The sounds of the ocean and the beautiful sunrises were the best. The gift shops are about 2 blocks away.

I stayed at Grande Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach from May 14 to 16, 2026, in a standard suite with multiple beds, a balcony, and an ocean view. The accommodation and location were notable strengths, although several service and communication issues affected the overall quality of the stay. Upon arriving at 3:00 p.m., I was informed that my room was not yet ready because the hotel was especially busy during Bike Week. However, I was told I could access a room immediately for an additional fee, despite arriving only about an hour before check-in and not seeing that charge listed on Hotels.com. That interaction created the impression of an unexpected fee and made for a disappointing first impression. I had planned to wait by having a late lunch at the hotel restaurant, but it had already closed. Strengths The property benefits from a convenient location just minutes from the airport and directly on the beach. The balcony view was excellent, and the room was more spacious than expected, with a useful kitchenette that added convenience to the stay. The suite was clean and comfortable overall, and the plush bedding and strong shower pressure were especially appreciated. Areas for Improvement Several aspects of the experience could be improved. The bathroom toiletries were minimal and somewhat low-quality, and although the public areas were generally well-maintained, the building's age was still apparent.
