The hotel was immaculate, wonderfully fitted out and the staff were lovely. My problems were in the room and probably mostly to do with being autistic. The linen felt very sharp and starched, making the bedding feel scratchy and unpleasant. The pillow was perfect, but the texture of the two together made my skin feel unhappy. The lights on the air conditioning unit and control panel are very bright and the one on the panel cannot be covered up as light still shines out through the plastic. The air con unit was positioned such that it blew uncomfortably and it didn’t seem to do anything subtly - it was either full power hot or full power cold. As such, I barely slept and was awake most of the night wishing I was anywhere else but that room.
