We had to pay twice for our first 5 nights in Kenya. We had booked Coral Beach Resort well in advance. We had prepaid for the entire stay. Hotels.com had already deducted the amount from my account on May 23, 2025. When we arrived at the hotel we had no reservation and the hotel was full. The first two nights we had to stay at another hotel, but it was available so we could stay at Coral Beach as planned for the next three nights. The hotel showed us excellent service and I will give Coral Beach Resort the best feedback. The problem was that Hotels.com did not make the reservation with the hotel and took the money themselves. I will now claim compensation from Hotels.com for additional costs and additional inconvenience.
