It was a lovely room to stay in whilst I was visiting friends in the city, spacious and comfy. It is near some good restaurants and stores so good location.

adequate,not too bad.room and bathroom very clean,bathroom door did not close properly(know renovations are ongoing here)so,not fit for purpose.friendly ,helpful staff.very handily situated near railway station and near town centre.have stayed here before,and no doubt will again.

This is a functional hotel , we arrived just after 2pm our room was clean and tidy . Lots going on as turn around in progress but staff were happy and polite Breakfast decent , cereal’s, toast , coffee, tea Location for station couldn’t be nearer

Great location and at least my expectations weren’t high based on other reviews but it wasn’t an amazing stay. They were in the middle of renovations so the halls were a bit of a mess. The room itself was ok but the bathroom didn’t feel very clean and there was no soundproofing hearing other guests in the hall and the lift moving all night long. It’s a reasonable price but not great

Hotel is in a good location and I appreciated the tv and coffee facilities in the room and the friendly staff but a few small things added up to it feeling unnecessarily shabby - the mattress was terrible - must have been decades old, mould in the bathroom, no shower gel, and nobody clearing away plates in the breakfast room or noticing that there's no mugs for coffee. The staff member was helpful when I asked but said "I THINK this mug is clean". It's a budget hotel so my expectations weren't high but it still felt lacking

When we got there we were greeted by a very brusque receptionist who wasn’t particularly friendly. The room was tired, is the best way to put it. The cabinets in the room were either covered in cigarette burns or plaster, the windows were filthy, and the bathroom door didn’t close.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, rooms weren’t ready at the 3pm check in time stated. Was told to just hang around with no rough time given. We opted to just drop our bags off and return in the evening. Bedding had no covers for duvet or pillows, mould on the ceiling and Luke warm water for the shower. Great location so it’s just a shame the hotel is badly run and managed.
