It was nice. Kinda hard to find cuz it’s in the middle of a bunch of buildings and not marked well. But we found it and had a good stay.

The property was great and serene. The staff was great as well. Nice place to getaway. The restaurants on site were not so good. That could use improvement. The breakfast buffet did not measure up to the photos online.

Staff was great! Nice, old school vibe to the place. Short walk to the lifts. Valet for $18 for the whole stay and they’ll dig your car out of the snow! Good breakfast though expensive in St. Bernards. Only complaint is that the sound proofing should be better in the rooms, but overall was a fairly quiet place so not a huge deal.

8/10 Very Good

Great location and the most helpful and friendly staff imaginable. The rooms are what happens with not enough maintenance and ski resort scratches and scrapes. The rooms could use a full upgrade. Everything is very old, some curtains torn, etc.

4/10 Fair

We were incredibly disappointed with our stay here. The inn at Solitude is old, poorly maintained, and dirty. Our sheets had multiple stains on them. What looked like blood and the other big stain was yellow. We stayed for 4 days and our room was not cleaned once. The amenities they have are incredibly limited and they don't even open the pool or jacuzzi until noon so forget about any morning relaxation. We also got locked out of our room and couldn't find a front desk person for 2 hours. When they state there's 24 hour concierge services but then left the building without anyone here for hours. It was just not a good experience at all, especially for the money they charge you.

Friendly staff. Great location. Comfy facilities.
Really friendly and helpful staff. Ski vacations in the Cottonwood Canyons can require some flexibility when big week long storms roll in. We were fortunate to have 60+ inches arrive during our stay, but that amount of snow can tax the operations and staff. Despite the challenging conditions and road closures, the staff at the inn were reliably accommodating and always brought a smile and great attitude to all of the interactions we experienced.

2/10 Poor

Expedia appears to overextend itself when it comes to the “Gold,” status perks. The hotel doesn’t even seem to be aware of the benefits that are extended to the customer. When I mentioned some of the perks they act surprised. Personally I don’t care, but stop advertising these benefits if they really don’t exist.
