What a lucky find! It was a last minute stop for 1 night, but very comfortable! Great staff, owner, and property! The pool was great for a quick swim, the food fantastic, and just a very relaxing stay. Vinnie(sp) was wonderful! I arrived a little frazzled, she instantly made me felt welcomed and calm! The owners both attentive and interesting people! It really was one my most memorable stays after traveling all around the world. Cheers!

Triggerfish was great. We stayed one night transitioning from Caye Caulker to flying home. The pool was wonderful to lounge in on the provided floaties. We were able to walk to a great restaurant for dinner. The breakfast prior to our departure was perfect.

Cathy was super welcoming, constantly checked in on me. Great stay and great hospitality. The breakfast was great, love her fry jacks. This place gives a local vibe. Cathy set transportation for me and this place is only 5 minutes from the airport. This will be my new stay every time I come to visit my family in Ladyville.

Very welcoming hosts. The room was superb, clean and very comfortable bed. We opted to have a home made meal vs going out to a restaurant. Our meals were very tasty and hit the spot after our all day travel. We highly recommend staying here.

I felt fortunate to stay at the Triggerfish B&B. After a very long travel day from US with delayed flights, missed water taxi and sold out flights to ambergris caye, i found this B&B gem approx 7-9 mins from airport. The place was immaculate and located on a canal with lots of birds. The hosts, Cathy and Dan, are wonderful people. Cathy’s hospitality is top notch as well as her cooking. Tip: black bean chipotle burger for dinner and fry jacks for breakfast….mmmmmm. The room is very comfortable, chills down nicely with AC and a great shower. The screened porch is nice to hang out on in the evening. I highly recommend the Triggerfish. And I felt safe as a female solo traveler.

This is an excellent place to stay! The owners (Canadian born Cathy and Dan) go out of their way to make your stay special.. arranging transfers and making tasty meals served on a lovely screened porch. The pool is great and a nice place to relax after a long trip. The rooms are tasteful with very comfortable beds. We stayed here twice on our last stay and really enjoyed both stays it felt like home to come back before our trip back home.
