Overpriced hotel. While for a similar rate some hotels offer a good service and have a nice atmosphere... I arrived in a room with an open window (great at midnight in February)... The "decoration" of the rooms is quite old and gloomy: I ended up in a room "Cocoa" (or sthg alike) decorated with... simili-chocolats sticked on the walls. Disgusting. Overall, very expensive for a hotel of that quality in Brussels.

The customer service was 10/10 and I like the choices for the breakfast menu. However my room was smelling due to the drain. I think the windows have not been opened for a long time as well.

Nice little hotel

Hotel was pretty cool and hip. Room wasn’t the biggest but was quite comfortable. Free breakfast and walkable to some cool spots in the neighborhood or the metro to get into the center of town. Would definitely stay again

6/10 Good

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable. My room was on the basemrnt, down a fairly steep stairway. The stzircarpet was in very bad condition, threadbare and full of holes. I didn't feel it was safe. Fortunatley there was a lift. We didn't eat breakfast and wouldn't have done as food was left uncovered for hours.

Nice hotel in a calm street

A small, quirky and clean hotel in a very nice neighbourhood with lots of good coffeeshops. The street is calm, I always sleep very well there. The staff is nice and super friendly!

Beautiful small and intimate hotel in Brussels. Location is excellent, close to many restaurants, shopping, banks, supermarkets, art galleries and antique stores. The staff is friendly, do not hesitate to ask if you have any issue.

A very pleasant stay for 6 nights, in a single room. Comfortable bed, very little noise from neighbours. Informative and friendly staff, good shower, TV that showed the Euros 👍. I didn't take breakfast at the hotel but tea and coffee was replenished every morning in room and it was very clean, with decent shower. Plenty of cafés, bars and places to eat within walking distance. Close to Hora Museum and within 30-40 minutes of fine arts museum and other landmarks. 15 to 20 minutes from local metro and Brussels Midi station. A good, affordable place to stay.

Fantastic

Lovely hotel with fantastic staff. Quirky decoration (look up as you enter the first set of doors!). Gave us recommendations for our stay. Offered to clean on our first morning, even though we didn't put the "please clean" sign out. Check out the door names, we figured out they're all connected to the local/Belgian history and culture, I regret not asking about those we didn't recognise.

Nice hotel friendly staff

Nice hotel. Very helpful friendly staff. The guy at the reception gave us tips where to go nearby for food and drinks when he heard us talking about not wanting to go to the city center. You can actually walk to the city center it is about a 30 min walk. The only thing they could improve is clean the rooms a bit earlier. We returned at about 17.00 and didnt want any one in there anymore. And that happened three times.

Good location and staff friendly . Basement room unpleasant and smelt of mould. Dark and gloomy. Carpet old and stained. Desperately in need of refurbishment. Perhaps we were just unlucky with our room but I have been to several other hotels in Brussels and there are many better ones

Great hotel, good price too

It was great. Loved the tv with youtube access and the online guide to the english speaking channels. Very friendly and helpful receptionists, they looked after my bag and I knew I could approach them with any questions. Normal noise levels for a hotel i.e. some noise. I wished as a woman they didnt read out my room number when i checked in, most other hotels have stopped doing this and just point to the number on your room card. Also i had the garden access room which was lovely but Id have preferred to be on a higher floor. Very comfy bed. Really ideal location. Fun themed rooms, with enough light which is unusual for this decor. Overall, I would highly reccomend Neufchatel hotel.

Outstanding Service!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel with my mum, and we were both thoroughly impressed by our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent customer service throughout our stay. Their warmth and helpfulness made us feel welcome and valued as guests. The room was a highlight of our stay—it was impeccably clean and surprisingly spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable, offering me the best sleep I've had in a long time. This made our stay even more enjoyable and restful. In addition to the fantastic accommodation, the hotel's location was very convenient. The trams were easy to use, and there were excellent transport links nearby, making it simple for us to explore the area without any hassle. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and couldn't be happier with our choice of hotel. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and conveniently located place to stay, complemented by a staff that truly goes above and beyond to ensure a great experience.

6/10 Good

I got a room in the basement - never again. Yes, there are windows, but it still is noticably a cellar room. The bathroom is so small, you cannot even dry yourself with a towel. TV only had one channel that was actually working. To be fair: it is a nice house in an interesting neighborhood. The breakfast is good at a fair price. The rooms are on the small side, but on previous stays I had more luck and was quite happy. I didn't know they also offered the Harry Potter experience under... that was not worth the money. Brussels has many better options.

6/10 Good

We stayed in the bottom floor. They call the floor -1. I actually like it because there were only two rooms in the lowest floor. It was quite with access to a small yard. However, the carpet needs cleaning and the room decorations need to be updated. Despite of this, we have daily toiletries, clean sheets and beddings, and my bed was king size with extra twin bed.
